He was sitting in his chair, looking out over the dark sea commited to bring us all safely to Ijmuiden. He’s a hero, we all said! Until today…

Indian Navy chose Ullman Seats as new standard

Solas Marine in Sri Lanka has been awarded a contract for 80 FICs, Fast Interception Craft, for the Indian Navy, with an option for 80 more boats.

The Albert Nazarov designed FRC has been extremely well received by the Navy and the production rate is now increasing to up to 3 boats per month.

Advanced armament and surveillance equipment, as well as gear for hostile boarding in adverse conditions, in combination with good sea keeping and speed capacity exceeding the spec,

makes this a most excellent tool for anti-terrorist operations, says project leader Cdr Ret S K Raghav after acceptance tests completed.

After thorough investigation and comparative testing of suspension seats, the Ullman Patrol seats were chosen as the new standard.
Performance is crucial! Our most valuable assets are our highly skilled crews.

We need to keep them safe and fit-for-fight even in the worst sea conditions.

We also require corrosion free, maintenance free, fail-safe seats that do not bottom out.

We found that Ullman Seats are the optimal solution.

G.I. Joe – Retaliation.

Bruce Willis and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, stars of G.I. Joe 2, mastered the Giant Airboats in this year’s first blockbuster from Hollywood.

GI Joe Retaliation sold a total of $132 Million over Easter holiday.

The Giant Airboat with 7-foot fans and double V8 engines features stabilized 50-cal machine gun and Ullman Suspension seating using the Ullman Daytona Bucket seat and 6 staggered Ullman Biscaya seats for the G.I. Joes.

Set Designer Jack Blanchard and Art Director Luke Freeborn choose the Ullman Seats for their military looks and unmatched performance, making the airboat stand out from the screen in the intense 3D experience.

Go see the movie. It is guaranteed to blow you away.

Ullman Dynamics supplies 120 Atlantic Suspension Seats for 24 new 38′ Interceptor Boats built by Eduardoño for the war against drug runners.

To protect crews from injury the Colombian Navy Coast Guard has decided to use the most efficient suspension seats available. “This way we can drive faster, maneuver with more control, reduce fatigue and of course minimize the risks of injuries.”

Powered by 3 x 250hp Yamaha outboards, the vessel known as “Tipo B” is a 38-foot open interceptor built for interdiction and patrol. The modified V-hull gives excellent maneuverability, shallow draft, quick reaction, long range and high speed.

It is designed to operate in high seas in the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean with the potential to enter into the bays and vast rivers of Colombia. “Tipo B” has 5 Ullman Atlantic Seats for the crew and can carry 12 additional passengers.

The Ullman Atlantic is a hybrid seat allowing both high-comfort, reclined sitting and also the more active straddling position when it gets rough. The final spec of the “Tipo B” has been done in cooperation between Eduardoño, Ullman Dynamics and the Colombian CG optimizing consoles and seats for the specific tasks of the vessel.

The first container with 32 seats has already been shipped to Colombia, and another 88 seats are on their way.
